Where Santa Clarita does business
Santa Clarita incorporated in 1987 and had 228,673 residents at the 2020 census. Wikipedia describes the Valencia Industrial Center as the largest business park in the Santa Clarita Valley, stretching from Valencia High School to the I-5/CA-126 interchange and housing offices of Advanced Bionics, Aerospace Dynamics International, Woodward and others. Other industrial areas include Saugus Station off Railroad Avenue, Valencia Corporate Center on Tourney Road, Needham Ranch on Sierra Highway and Vista Canyon on Lost Canyon Road. Princess Cruises and Honda Performance Development are based in the city, and three colleges, CalArts, The Master's University and College of the Canyons, are here too.
Matching the need to the product
| Situation | Consider |
|---|---|
| Machine shop adding a CNC or inspection equipment | Equipment financing |
| Supplier expanding into a larger unit at a business park | A business loan or term loan |
| Contractor carrying payroll between progress payments | Working capital or a line of credit |
| Café or shop with uneven card sales | Revenue-based financing or a merchant cash advance |
A supplier example
For illustration only, not our terms or a typical result. A precision parts supplier gets a larger purchase order that needs $150,000 in raw material and a second shift for two months. The customer pays on delivery terms. A business loan sized to the material and added labor, repaid as the order is paid, lets the shop accept work it would otherwise decline. The two checks that matter: the order's margin covers the cost of the money, and the shop's weakest recent month could still handle the payment if the customer pays late.
Service and campus-area businesses
Not every Santa Clarita borrower runs a factory floor. Restaurants, fitness studios, tutoring centers and repair shops serve the valley's neighborhoods and its three college campuses. Their needs tend to be smaller and more seasonal: a remodel before a busy stretch, a second location's deposit, new kitchen gear. The same approach applies. Tie the amount to a specific cost, and make sure a quiet month, such as a college break, can still carry the payment.
Before you apply
- Pull about three months of business bank statements; they are the center of the review.
- Know your credit range. We consider FICO 500 and above, using a soft pull.
- Write a short use-of-funds plan.
- Add up existing payments. If advances already strain deposits, read MCA relief first.
No tax returns are required, the application takes about five minutes, and sole proprietors can apply. Funding ranges from $25,000 to $5,000,000, funded in as little as 24 hours. Newer firms can check startup loans; owners with credit concerns can read the bad-credit page.
