A city built around freight
Wikipedia calls Fontana a regional hub of the trucking industry. Interstate 10 and State Route 210 cross the city east to west, and Interstate 15 runs diagonally through its northwestern corner. The city's economy is described as driven largely by industrial uses, particularly trucking-based industries, and in 2025 ZM Trucks announced plans for a zero-emission truck plant and headquarters there.
Around that core sit the businesses that keep it running: diesel and tire shops, parts counters, yard and warehouse services, contractors, clinics, and restaurants that feed shift workers. Their urgent costs are concrete. A lift breaks. A bay needs a part before a customer's rig can leave. A crew has to make payroll before a general contractor pays.
A note on trucking itself
Long-haul carriers face a well-known squeeze: fuel, tires, insurance and driver pay go out every week, while broker and shipper invoices often pay weeks later. We describe that reality because it shapes the whole local economy, but we don't promise funding for long-haul trucking operations. The examples on this page focus on the shops, contractors and service businesses around the corridor.
What speeds up a Fontana file
| Business | Typical urgent need | What to have ready |
|---|---|---|
| Diesel or tire shop | Replacing a lift or compressor | Three months of statements plus a note on the equipment cost |
| Contractor | Materials and payroll before a progress payment | Statements showing past progress payments arriving |
| Restaurant near a distribution area | Cooler or hood repair | Statements showing daily card deposits |
| Medical or dental office | Covering a gap while insurance claims pay | Statements showing insurer deposits |
In every case, the 5-minute application, a soft credit pull and no tax returns keep the front end short. A complete file can be funded in as little as 24 hours; we don't promise same-day funding.
For illustration: the repair bay
Suppose a Fontana diesel shop has two bays idle because a $35,000 lift and air system failed. Round numbers, for illustration only, not our terms. Every idle day turns away work. If funding replaces the equipment within a couple of days and the bays fill again, the cost of fast money is measured against lost repair tickets, not against a cheaper option that would take weeks.
